![]() And the reported fail to eject happened one time in the 300 - 350 range. Now I only have about 350 rounds through the SA35. The SA35 trigger reset was barely perceptible in feel and sound. Other than that the two appear the same and I have wraparound Pachmyrs on both pistols. Overall I highly recommend the gun.Ĭollector, my MKIII is a black epoxy finish (if my memory is good). The fiance loved it too and found it very easy to shoot for her. ![]() Not a single malfunction in 150 rds of ammo. I do wish, I'll admit, that they were a 3 dot style with a rear sight that had 2 white dots but beggars can't be choosers and they shoot great. I do like the sights they are good and easy to acquire, a black rear sight big and wide with a good front post with a white dot. I was shooting the gun at 15+ yards at a pop can and the first magazine full I went 13 of 15 for hits (I say 15 yds because the can started at 15 yards and kept getting farther away). You can see in the second picture which was taken just after I left the store with it, there is some lube just above the trigger where the slide and frame meet. #2 was solved with a stripping and a wipe down/re-lube job after shooting. I get it things slip through cracks and their customer service was top notch. #3 was an easy solve, I emailed Springfield and they apologized and shipped the screws free of charge the same day, pics below. My only complaints were #1 for a $699 gun it should come with more than 1 factory magazine #2 from the factory the gun was just dripping with lube and #3 one of the grip screw had a big ding in it where you can tell a screwdriver slipped installing it. The grips fit my hand perfectly and the gun is the best shooting semi auto I've ever fired of any caliber or manufacture. The grip fits me perfectly, fit and finish was a 9/10. Here's a couple of pics, and honestly other than my 357 Blackhawk this is hands down my favorite handgun.
